First Similarity Search

Integrating with the Resomix B2B Partner API is designed to be simple and rapid. Follow these three steps to perform your first audio similarity search.

---

Step 1: Get Your API Key

Your organizational API key (X-Api-Key: rmx_…) is securely generated and delivered during onboarding, scoped to your catalog. Contact your Resomix partner manager if you need it re-issued.

---

Step 2: Set the Base URL

Point your HTTP client at the dedicated base URL issued to you during onboarding. Throughout these docs, examples use the illustrative host https://api.resomix.com.

---

Step 3: Execute Your First Search

Run the following curl command to find tracks similar to a known catalog track ID. (Get a real ID from the search endpoint — see the API Reference.)

bash // format_parametersCOPY_CODE
curl -X POST "https://api.resomix.com/api/v1/similarity/search" \
  -H "X-Api-Key: rmx_your_partner_key" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "track_id": "710ce777-0f1a-4c2b-9e3d-8a6f21b40c55",
    "top_sk": 20
  }'

You can also search by title/artist (GET /api/v1/search_tracks/) and find similar tracks by uploading audio (POST /api/v1/similarity/upload). All three are documented with live examples in the API Reference and runnable in the Playground.
